A vulnerability in the Linux kernel's intel-thc-hid driver (intel-quickspi) allowed unbounded report sizes to overflow a heap buffer during a SET_REPORT/SET_FEATURE ioctl operation. This was due to missing validation of the report size before copying it into a fixed-size buffer. The issue has been resolved by adding proper size validation and adjusting buffer allocation to prevent overflow.
