A resource management vulnerability in the Linux kernel's NFS server (nfsd) was fixed. The issue involved a failure to release POSIX ACL references in certain error paths during NFSv4 OPEN operations, causing memory leaks. The fix adds a proper release function to handle these references in all code paths, including error short-circuits and replayed operations.
