A vulnerability in the Linux kernel's HID sensor-hub component allowed an out-of-bounds write due to improper handling of feature field sizes. The function sensor_hub_get_feature() incorrectly copies more data than the caller's buffer can hold when a malicious HID descriptor advertises a large feature field size. This issue has been fixed by rejecting feature fields requiring more than one slot per value and clamping copy operations to the caller's buffer size.
