A race condition vulnerability in the Linux kernel's Rust devres component has been fixed. The issue arises when two concurrent revokers attempt to revoke a Devres resource simultaneously, potentially causing a use-after-free condition. This occurs because one revoker may still be executing drop_in_place() on inner data while the other revoker proceeds to drop adjacent resources referenced by the first. The fix involves adding synchronization via a Completion to ensure proper teardown before resource dropping completes.
