A race condition vulnerability in the Linux kernel's NFC subsystem (nci) was fixed. The flaw involved concurrent calls to nci_data_exchange_complete() from nci_close_device() and nci_rx_work, leading to a double completion race. This caused a socket reference count underflow and premature socket freeing while still in use. The fix ensures only the first caller proceeds with the callback by replacing clear_bit() with test_and_clear_bit().
