A high-severity vulnerability in the Linux kernel's ublk subsystem was resolved by properly checking the return value of the import_ubuf() function. The flaw involved import_ubuf() potentially failing when the userspace ublk server provided an address range outside the allowed user address space, which could lead to passing an uninitialized struct iov_iter to ublk_copy_user_pages().
