A use-after-free vulnerability in the Linux kernel's block cgroup (blk-cgroup) subsystem was resolved. The flaw occurs in the blkcg_activate_policy() function when switching IO schedulers on a block device, where a race condition with concurrent block cgroup deletion can lead to use-after-free in rcu_accelerate_cbs. The fix involves checking if a block group (blkg) is already being destroyed before processing it, preventing the use-after-free condition.
