A vulnerability in the Linux kernel's ath12k WiFi driver related to a stride mismatch in mac_phy_caps_parse() has been resolved. The issue involves incorrect memory allocation size due to a mismatch between the allocated buffer size and the pointer arithmetic used during memcpy operations, potentially causing out-of-bounds writes when firmware sends short TLVs. The fix ensures consistent allocation size and pointer stride by using kzalloc_objs().
