A vulnerability in the Linux kernel's USB gadget UAC1 and UAC2 configuration allows writing beyond fixed-size arrays when parsing rate list attributes. This occurs because the code does not validate that the number of sampling rates provided does not exceed the maximum allowed entries, leading to out-of-bounds writes. The issue has been resolved by adding validation to reject additional tokens beyond the allowed limit and correcting memory management during parsing.
