A vulnerability in the Linux kernel's BPF subsystem involves improper handling of kfunc arguments named rdonly_buf_size or rdwr_buf_size that exceed the maximum value of a 32-bit unsigned integer. This leads to an incorrect memory size being recorded due to truncation, potentially causing incorrect access checks. The issue has been resolved by rejecting values that exceed U32_MAX at the point where the size is set.
