A use-after-free vulnerability in the Linux kernel's mac80211 WiFi subsystem was resolved. The flaw occurs when associating to a non-transmitted MBSSID profile, causing the code to read freed memory while processing fallback association elements. This happens because pointers to fallback parsed information are used after the parse object has been freed. The fix ensures the fallback parse result remains valid until association setup completes.
