A concurrency vulnerability in the Linux kernel Bluetooth ISO socket connect function (iso_sock_connect) has been resolved. The flaw allowed concurrent connect calls to bypass socket state checks, potentially leading to use-after-free conditions due to race conditions in connection setup and teardown. The fix serializes concurrent connect calls by marking the connect operation in progress and rejecting concurrent attempts until completion. This prevents destination overwrites and stranded connection references. Join the discussion | GCVE Database | 10/23/2026, 15:31:34 UTC Added: 10/23/2026, 18:43:27 UTC |
