A vulnerability in the Linux kernel's power management domain (pmdomain) handling was fixed by adding a missing call to disable runtime power management for virtual devices during detachment. Without this fix, virtual devices detached from their power management domain could remain with runtime PM enabled, potentially causing critical errors such as NULL pointer dereferences or unnecessary performance state votes.
