In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: Input: synaptics-rmi4 - bound the F3A keymap to the GPIO count… (CVE-2026-64277)CVE-2026-64277 0 A vulnerability in the Linux kernel's synaptics-rmi4 input driver allows out-of-bounds memory access due to improper sizing of the gpio_key_map array. This can lead to out-of-bounds reads and writes when a device reports a gpio_count greater than 6, potentially leaking adjacent kernel memory to user space or allowing writes beyond allocated buffers. The issue arises because the keymap allocation is limited to 6 entries, but the code iterates over the full gpio_count. The fix involves sizing the keymap to the full gpio_count, preventing out-of-bounds access. Join the discussion | GCVE Database | 07/25/2026, 12:31:28 UTC Added: 07/25/2026, 23:09:03 UTC |
