A vulnerability in the Linux kernel's ipu7 media staging driver involved double-free and use-after-free errors in error handling paths. Specifically, redundant kfree() calls on already freed memory and improper error handling led to these issues. The flaw was fixed by removing redundant frees and correcting error return handling.
