CVE-2026-14476 is a path traversal vulnerability in the System Security Services Daemon (SSSD) AD GPO provider on Red Hat Enterprise Linux 10. The flaw allows an attacker with Active Directory Group Policy Object (GPO) management access to write files outside the intended GPO cache directory as root. On default RHEL configurations with SELinux enforcing, this can lead to Kerberos authentication bypass by injecting malicious Kerberos configuration. Red Hat has rated this vulnerability as Moderate due to the high privilege requirement and SELinux protections limiting impact. A security update addressing this issue is available.
