In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: tracing: Fix NULL pointer dereference in func_set_flag() func_set_flag()… (CVE-2026-64451)CVE-2026-64451 0 A NULL pointer dereference vulnerability in the Linux kernel's tracing subsystem (func_set_flag function) can cause a kernel crash. The issue occurs because func_set_flag() dereferences a pointer before verifying the active tracer type, leading to a NULL pointer dereference when the current tracer is not the function tracer. This can happen if a process opens a function tracer option file and then the active tracer switches to another type, such as wakeup_rt.
