The npm package '@across-toolkit/eslint-config' versions 99.0.0 and 99.0.1 contain malicious code that executes during installation. This code harvests sensitive credentials and environment information from the installer’s system, including AWS, GCP, SSH keys, and various configuration files, then exfiltrates this data to a hardcoded external endpoint. The package appears designed for dependency confusion attacks targeting the Across Protocol internal namespace.
