A vulnerability in the Linux kernel's thunderbolt property parsing code could cause size_t underflow leading to out-of-bounds memory reads. This occurs when a crafted property entry has a length less than 4, allowing an attacker to trigger two distinct out-of-bounds conditions during property parsing. The issue affects Linux kernel versions prior to certain 7.0.0 Azure-specific releases. A patch is available from the vendor to address this flaw.
