AI-suggested

Upgrade LemonLDAP::NG to version 2.19.3 or later, where this vulnerability is fixed. Since the vulnerability depends on the userControl setting allowing special HTML characters, reverting this setting to its default value can serve as a temporary mitigation. No other vendor advisories or patches are provided, so users should apply the official fix promptly.

Description

A cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability exists in LemonLDAP::NG versions before 2.19.3. This flaw allows remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script or HTML into the login page via the username field if the userControl setting permits special HTML characters. The vulnerability requires user interaction and can lead to partial confidentiality and integrity impacts.
