AI-suggested

Red Hat has released Keycloak 26.6.8 with multiple security fixes. Although the advisory excerpt does not explicitly confirm a fix for CVE-2026-94001, users should upgrade to the latest Keycloak version provided by their vendor to ensure all known vulnerabilities are addressed. Patch status for this specific vulnerability is not explicitly confirmed; therefore, check the vendor advisory for the most current remediation guidance.

Description

A vulnerability in the Admin REST API of Keycloak allows delegated administrators without reset-password permissions to delete user password credentials. This flaw prevents affected users from logging in by removing their password credentials. The issue is due to improper permission checks on the endpoint responsible for deleting user credentials.
