Description

A vulnerability exists in the cluster-proxy service-proxy component used by Red Hat Advanced Cluster Management for Kubernetes (RHACM) and multicluster-engine (MCE). The flaw allows an authenticated hub principal to escalate privileges to cluster-admin on every managed cluster by injecting an Impersonate-Group header. This occurs because the service-proxy appends impersonation group headers without removing caller-supplied values, and the spoke ServiceAccount has unrestricted impersonation permissions.
