AI-suggested

A fix is not yet officially released; a pull request with a patch is awaiting acceptance. Until the patch is merged and deployed, users should consider restricting access to the vulnerable function or implementing network-level controls to limit outbound requests from the server. Monitor the vendor repository for the official patch and apply it promptly once available.

Description

A server-side request forgery (SSRF) vulnerability exists in pixelsock directus-mcp version 1.0.0 within the validateUrl function of the MCP Interface component. This flaw allows remote attackers to manipulate the fileUrl argument, potentially causing the server to make unintended requests. Public exploit code is available, and a fix is pending acceptance in a pull request.
