Description

A vulnerability in the Linux kernel's IOMMU subsystem could cause a NULL pointer dereference leading to a system crash. This occurs when the group->domain pointer is NULL due to a failure in allocating a default domain during the first probe. The issue is triggered in the pci_dev_reset_iommu_done() function when it attempts to re-attach a device to a domain. The flaw has been fixed by skipping the re-attach step if the domain pointer is NULL.
