Description

A vulnerability in the Linux kernel's netfilter nft_fib component could leak uninitialized kernel stack memory to userspace due to improper handling of the OIFNAME register. The issue arises because only part of the declared register space is zeroed on certain failure paths, leaving stale stack data exposed. The vulnerability has been fixed by properly initializing the entire register space and restricting certain flags to appropriate result types.
