A medium severity vulnerability (CVE-2026-53134) in the Linux kernel's netfilter nft_fib component could leak uninitialized kernel stack memory to userspace due to improper handling of the OIFNAME register. The issue arises because only part of the destination register is cleared on certain failure paths, leaving stale stack data accessible. The flaw has been fixed by ensuring the entire register span is properly zeroed and restricting certain flags to appropriate result types.
