AI-suggested

Until a fix is available, consider disabling secondary authentication on tunnel groups if feasible or restricting access to the SSL VPN service to trusted users only. Monitor vendor communications for updates on patches or official mitigations.

Description

A logic error vulnerability in the Remote Access SSL VPN service of Cisco Secure Firewall ASA and FTD software can cause the device to reload unexpectedly when secondary authentication is enabled on a tunnel group. An unauthenticated remote attacker can exploit this by sending a crafted request during SSL VPN connection, resulting in a denial of service (DoS).
