Description

A server-side request forgery (SSRF) vulnerability exists in mifi lossless-cut versions prior to 3.69.0 in the built-in HTTP API service component. Exploitation requires local network access and is considered highly complex and difficult. The vulnerability is behind an experimental CLI flag and may not be critical according to the project maintainer. A patch is available to address this issue.

Technical Analysis

CVE-2026-19352 describes an SSRF vulnerability in the src/main/httpServer.ts component of mifi lossless-cut up to version 3.69.0. The vulnerability allows an attacker with local network access to manipulate the built-in HTTP API service to perform server-side request forgery. Exploitation complexity is high, and no privileges or user interaction are required. The project maintainer notes the issue is behind an experimental CLI flag and questions its criticality. A patch identified by commit 260802348955231442c4bae6c2d9d8ede947af0a is available to fix the vulnerability.

Potential Impact

The vulnerability could allow an attacker on the local network to perform SSRF attacks, potentially causing the server to make unintended requests. However, the impact is limited to information disclosure (low confidentiality impact) with no integrity or availability impact. The attack complexity is high, and exploitation is difficult. There are no known exploits in the wild.

Mitigation Recommendations

A patch is available for this vulnerability (commit 260802348955231442c4bae6c2d9d8ede947af0a). It is recommended to apply this patch to resolve the issue. The project maintainer indicates the vulnerability is behind an experimental CLI flag and may not be critical, but applying the patch remains best practice.
