AI-suggested
Upgrade aiohttp to version 0.1.6_24 or later, where the issue with host-only cookie persistence has been fixed. Applying this official patch fully mitigates the vulnerability. No additional actions are required once the update is applied.
Description
A vulnerability in aiohttp's CookieJar persistence causes host-only cookies saved and later restored from disk to lose their host-only status. This results in cookies being sent to subdomains that should not receive them, potentially exposing sensitive session data. The issue affects versions from 0.1.5 up to but not including 0.1.6_24. A patch is available in version 0.1.6_24 that fixes this behavior.
