AI-suggested
Upgrade aiohttp to version 2.10.0 or later, where the issue is fixed. The vendor has released an official patch addressing the loss of host-only status on persisted cookies. No additional mitigation is required once the update is applied.
Description
A vulnerability in aiohttp's CookieJar persistence causes host-only cookies saved to disk and later restored to lose their host-only status. This results in cookies being sent to subdomains that should not receive them, potentially exposing sensitive cookie data. The issue affects versions from 2.9.0 up to but not including 2.10.0 and has been fixed in version 2.10.0.
