Description
CVE-2024-10224 is an OS command injection vulnerability in the Module::ScanDeps library before version 1.36. It allows a local attacker to execute arbitrary shell commands by providing unsanitized input to functions that open pipes or evaluate strings. This can occur by passing filenames containing pipe characters or arbitrary strings to eval().
