What to do
AI-suggested
- Upgrade Jungo WinDriver to version 12.6.0 or later once the patch is officially released by the vendor to address the out-of-bounds write issue.
- Restrict local access to systems running affected WinDriver versions by enforcing strict user account controls and limiting administrative privileges.
- Implement application whitelisting and endpoint protection to detect and prevent unauthorized execution of potentially malicious code that could trigger the vulnerability.
- Monitor system stability and logs for signs of unexpected crashes or BSOD events that could indicate exploitation attempts.
- For critical environments, consider isolating systems using Jungo WinDriver from general user access or network segments to reduce exposure.
- Engage with Jungo Networks support or vendor channels for any interim workarounds or security advisories until patches are available.
