AI-suggested

Organizations should prioritize upgrading livehelperchat to version 4.34 or later where the vulnerability is patched. If immediate upgrading is not feasible, implement strict input validation and sanitization on the 'search' parameter to prevent injection of malicious template code. Employ web application firewalls (WAFs) with custom rules to detect and block suspicious payloads targeting SSTI patterns. Restrict network access to the livehelperchat interface to trusted IP addresses where possible. Monitor logs for unusual activity related to the 'search' parameter and template processing errors. Conduct regular security assessments and penetration testing focused on template injection vectors. Isolate the livehelperchat server in a segmented network zone with minimal privileges to limit potential damage. Stay updated with vendor advisories for official patches and apply them promptly once available.
