What to do

AI-suggested

To mitigate CVE-2024-41514, organizations should implement strict input validation and output encoding on the 'wer' parameter within PrevPgGroup.aspx to neutralize any injected scripts or HTML. Employing a web application firewall (WAF) with rules targeting reflected XSS patterns can provide an additional layer of defense. Administrators should monitor user activity for suspicious URL access patterns and educate users about the risks of clicking untrusted links. Additionally, applying Content Security Policy (CSP) headers can help limit the impact of any successful script injection by restricting the sources from which scripts can be loaded. Regularly review and update authentication and session management controls to minimize the impact of potential session hijacking.

Description

A reflected cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in "PrevPgGroup.aspx" in CADClick v1.11.0 and before allows remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script or HTML via the "wer" parameter.
