Published: 10/18/2026 (10/18/2026, 18:32:06 UTC)
Source: CVE Database V5
Vendor/Project: WSO2
Product: WSO2 Enterprise Integrator

Description

The Management Console fails to properly validate input related to the configuration of JDBC user stores. This weakness allows an attacker to supply specially crafted input that can lead to the execution of arbitrary code on the affected server. Successful exploitation of this vulnerability enables an attacker to execute arbitrary code on the server with the privileges of the WSO2 product. This could lead to a full compromise of the system.

Technical Analysis

The Management Console component of WSO2 Enterprise Integrator fails to properly sanitize input used in configuring JDBC user stores. This improper neutralization of special elements (CWE-78) enables an attacker to supply crafted input that results in arbitrary code execution on the server hosting the WSO2 product. The vulnerability affects multiple versions of WSO2 Enterprise Integrator prior to specific patch levels, allowing an attacker to gain control with the same privileges as the WSO2 process.

Potential Impact

Successful exploitation allows arbitrary code execution on the server with WSO2 product privileges, potentially leading to full system compromise.
