Description

A vulnerability in the Linux kernel's PowerPC hotplug driver (pnv_php) causes a kernel crash when hot-unplugging or disabling a PCIe switch/bridge. The issue arises from a NULL pointer dereference due to improper handling of MSI data structures during unregistration. This flaw has been fixed in updated Linux kernel versions.
