Description
CVE-2024-46821 is a high-severity vulnerability in the Linux kernel's AMD DRM power management code where a negative array index read was possible. This flaw was fixed by preventing negative clk_index values from being used as array indexes into pptable->DpmDescriptor. The issue affects multiple Linux kernel versions prior to the fixed releases. The vulnerability could lead to high impact on confidentiality, integrity, and availability if exploited. Official patches are available in several Linux kernel versions.
