Vendor/Project: addonify
Product: Addonify – Quick View For WooCommerce

Description

The Addonify – Quick View For WooCommerce plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Full Path Disclosure in all versions up to, and including, 1.2.16. This is due the plugin utilizing mobiledetect without preventing direct access to the files. Technical Analysis

CVE-2024-6560 describes a Full Path Disclosure vulnerability in the Addonify – Quick View For WooCommerce WordPress plugin (versions up to 1.2.16). The vulnerability arises from the plugin's use of mobiledetect without preventing direct access to certain files, enabling unauthenticated attackers to obtain the full filesystem path of the web application. This information disclosure is categorized under CWE-200 and has a CVSS v3.1 base score of 5.3 (medium severity). The disclosed path information by itself does not lead to direct compromise but may facilitate further attacks if other vulnerabilities exist.

Potential Impact

The vulnerability exposes the full path of the web application to unauthenticated attackers. This information disclosure has limited impact on its own and does not directly compromise confidentiality, integrity, or availability. However, it can aid attackers in crafting more effective attacks if combined with other vulnerabilities on the affected site.

Mitigation Recommendations

No official patch or remediation details are provided in the available data. Patch status is not yet confirmed — check the vendor advisory for current remediation guidance. Until a fix is available, consider restricting direct access to plugin files and reviewing server configurations to prevent path disclosure. Monitor vendor channels for updates or patches addressing this issue.
