Technical Analysis

The Eventin – Event Calendar, Event Registration, Tickets & Booking (AI Powered) WordPress plugin suffers from a missing capability check in its 'payment_complete' function. This authorization bypass vulnerability (CWE-862) enables unauthenticated attackers to change the status of ticket payments to 'completed'. The issue affects all versions up to 4.0.24.
