AI-suggested
A patch is available and included in Linux kernel versions 5.15.0-1076.79~20.04.1 and later. Users should update to these or newer fixed kernel versions to remediate the issue. After updating, a system reboot is required to apply the fix. No additional mitigation actions are specified or required.
Description
A vulnerability in the Linux kernel's ti am65-cpsw ethernet driver could cause a kernel warning due to improper handling of IRQ freeing in the am65_cpsw_nuss_remove_tx_chns() function. This occurs when a negative error value is returned by k3_udma_glue_tx_get_irq(), leading to an invalid IRQ being freed during runtime channel configuration changes. The issue is fixed in updated Linux kernel versions.
