What to do

AI-suggested

Organizations should immediately audit their network to identify the presence of TOTOLINK A3002R routers running the vulnerable firmware version 4.0.0-B20230531.1404. If found, restrict access to the router management interface by implementing network segmentation and firewall rules to limit access to trusted administrators only. Disable remote management interfaces if not required. Monitor network traffic for unusual HTTP requests targeting /boafrm/formFilter and implement intrusion detection/prevention rules to block suspicious payloads. Regularly check for vendor advisories and apply patches promptly once released. Additionally, maintain backups of router configurations to enable rapid recovery in case of a DoS event.

Description
