What to do

AI-suggested

Until an official fix is released, it is recommended to implement input validation and parameterized queries on the class_name parameter to mitigate SQL Injection risks. Restricting database user privileges and monitoring for suspicious database activity may also help reduce risk.

Description

Sourcecodester CASAP Automated Enrollment System version 1.0 contains a critical SQL Injection vulnerability in the update_class.php script via the class_name parameter. This vulnerability allows an unauthenticated attacker to execute arbitrary SQL commands, potentially leading to full compromise of the database confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
