Description
CVE-2025-68819 is a high-severity vulnerability in the Linux kernel's media subsystem, specifically in the dvb-usb dtv5100 driver. The issue arises because the dtv5100_i2c_msg() function does not properly check the size of a user-controlled rlen value, leading to an out-of-bounds write in the st->data buffer. This vulnerability has been fixed in several Linux kernel commits.
