Technical Analysis

CVE-2026-103937 is an incomplete cleanup vulnerability (CWE-459) in Misskey affecting versions >=12.0.0 <=13.14.2, >=2023.9.0-beta.1 <2025.4.1, and >=2025.5.0 <2026.7.0. During file uploads, cleanup processing may fail to execute, allowing repeated uploads to exhaust storage or file descriptors, resulting in denial of service regardless of federation status. The vulnerability has a CVSS 4.0 score of 8.7, indicating high severity. The issue is resolved in version 2026.7.0.

Potential Impact
