AI-suggested

Upgrade FileRise to version 3.23.0 or later, where this vulnerability is fixed. No other mitigation or workaround is indicated in the advisory.

Description

FileRise versions prior to 3.23.0 contain a vulnerability where archive entries are extracted before fully validating resolved paths. This can allow an authenticated non-administrator user with extract permission to overwrite or delete files outside the intended storage root if a symlink to an external directory exists in the destination. The issue is fixed in version 3.23.0.
