CVE-2026-104110: CWE-200: Exposure of Sensitive Information to an Unauthorized Actor in error311 FileRise
Description
CVE-2026-104110 is a medium severity vulnerability in FileRise Pro versions prior to 3.24.0. It allows unauthenticated attackers who know or guess a client portal slug to access sensitive internal information such as storage folder paths, client contact emails, form settings, and upload policies via the /api/pro/portals/get.php endpoint. This exposure occurs because the endpoint returns full internal records instead of only curated branding data, which is intentionally exposed by a separate endpoint. Exploitation requires the Pro add-on and at least one configured portal. The issue is fixed in version 3.24.0.

Technical Analysis
FileRise Pro before version 3.24.0 contains an information exposure vulnerability (CWE-200) where the /api/pro/portals/get.php endpoint returns a client portal's full internal record to unauthenticated callers who know or guess the portal slug. The exposed data includes internal storage folder paths, client contact emails, form settings, and upload-policy details. This contrasts with the publicMeta.php endpoint, which only exposes curated branding data as intended. Exploitation requires the Pro add-on and at least one configured portal. The vulnerability is addressed in version 3.24.0.
Potential Impact
An unauthenticated attacker can obtain sensitive internal information about client portals, including internal storage paths and client contact details. This exposure could aid further attacks or privacy violations but does not directly impact data integrity or availability. The CVSS 3.1 base score is 5.3 (medium severity), reflecting network attack vector, low complexity, no privileges required, no user interaction, and impact limited to confidentiality.
Mitigation Recommendations
Upgrade FileRise Pro to version 3.24.0 or later, where this vulnerability is fixed. No other mitigation is indicated or required.
