Users should monitor the vendor's advisories for updates. As a temporary mitigation, restrict subscriber-level user capabilities if possible and limit access to the affected functionality. Applying strict input validation or custom sanitization for array keys may reduce risk until an official fix is released.
Description
The Redux Framework WordPress plugin contains a stored cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in all versions up to 4.5.16. The flaw arises from insufficient sanitization of array keys in the 'multi_media' field, allowing authenticated users with subscriber-level access or higher to inject malicious scripts. These scripts execute when any user views the affected page, due to improper escaping of injected keys in HTML attributes.
