Published: 10/05/2026 (10/05/2026, 18:34:22 UTC)
Source: CVE Database V5
Vendor/Project: NeoRazorX
Product: facturascripts

Description

FacturaScripts before version 2026.7 contains a PHP object injection vulnerability in WidgetSelect::processFormData() that allows authenticated attackers to trigger unserialize() on raw POST data without an allowed_classes filter for multiple-select fields. Attackers can submit a serialized XLSXWriter object as the field value to invoke its __destruct() method, deleting arbitrary attacker-specified files such as config.php or backup data, resulting in denial of service and potential application reinstall hijack.

Technical Analysis

CVE-2026-104905 is a PHP object injection vulnerability in FacturaScripts before version 2026.7. The vulnerability exists in the WidgetSelect::processFormData() method, which unserializes raw POST data from multiple-select fields without applying an allowed_classes filter. Authenticated attackers can submit a serialized XLSXWriter object as input, causing its __destruct() method to execute and delete arbitrary files specified by the attacker. This can result in denial of service and potentially allow attackers to hijack the application reinstall process.

Potential Impact

Exploitation allows authenticated attackers to delete arbitrary files on the server, including configuration and backup files. This can cause denial of service by disrupting application functionality and may enable attackers to hijack the application reinstall process, potentially compromising the integrity of the system.

Mitigation Recommendations

A fix is available in FacturaScripts version 2026.7. Users should upgrade to version 2026.7 or later to remediate this vulnerability. Until then, restrict access to authenticated users and avoid submitting serialized objects in multiple-select fields. Patch status is confirmed by the version range indicating the vulnerability is fixed starting from 2026.7.
