Description

Twenty is an open-source CRM platform with a vulnerability in versions from 1.20.10 up to but not including 2.7.0. The /metadata GraphQL connectedAccounts query exposed plaintext IMAP, SMTP, and CalDAV passwords for all connected accounts in a workspace due to insufficient access controls. This allowed any workspace member to access other members' external service credentials, potentially compromising mail and calendar accounts. Google and Microsoft OAuth-only workspaces were not affected. The issue is fixed in version 2.7.0.

Technical Analysis

CVE-2026-105763 is a critical vulnerability in the twentyhq twenty CRM platform affecting versions >=1.20.10 and <2.7.0. The vulnerability arises because the /metadata GraphQL connectedAccounts query returns connectionParameters including plaintext passwords (IMAP, SMTP, CalDAV) for every connected account in a workspace. The query did not enforce the calling user's identity or account visibility, allowing any workspace member to retrieve other members' external-service credentials. This could lead to unauthorized access to mail and calendar services and potential account resets. Workspaces using only Google and Microsoft OAuth authentication are not impacted. The vulnerability is addressed in version 2.7.0.

Potential Impact

An attacker with workspace membership privileges can retrieve plaintext credentials for external services of other workspace members, leading to unauthorized access to email and calendar accounts. This compromises confidentiality and integrity of user data and may allow further account manipulation. The vulnerability does not affect OAuth-only workspaces for Google and Microsoft services.

Mitigation Recommendations

Upgrade to twenty version 2.7.0 or later, where this issue is fixed. No other mitigations are specified. Patch status is confirmed as fixed in 2.7.0.
