If you cannot patch yet, users should restrict access to the GLUE code editor to trusted users only and apply any recommended input validation or output encoding workarounds if provided by the vendor.
Description
XXL-JOB versions prior to 3.5.0 are affected by a stored cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in the GLUE code editor. The vulnerability arises because the JobCodeController.save() method stores user input from the glueSource parameter without proper output encoding, and the FreeMarker template job.code.ftl renders this stored input unescaped. This can lead to persistent XSS attacks when the stored data is viewed. The vulnerability has a medium severity with a CVSS score of 5.4.
